Personal Short

Defining and developing

Throughout my college years, while juggling work and caring for my son and other children, I held a steadfast belief that I didn't have to excel in just one area. My aspiration was to embrace a multifaceted role that allowed me to be present at home while contributing diligently in the workplace. I've always been driven to stay active; there's no middle ground for me. I've dedicated my time either to my job, engaging in playtime with my children, or finding solace on the couch. Even during moments of relaxation, I often find myself working on my computer, configuring new services or applications for my server. It's a testament to my unwavering dedication to both my professional and personal pursuits.

Philosophy

Study and Analytic Thinking

During my years pursuing a bachelor's degree in philosophy, I immersed myself in the world of books and delved deep into the niche of philosophical discussions. My studies were both a source of inspiration and critical reflection. It became evident to me that I needed a more practical and tangible approach to life, one where philosophy played a role in shaping my decisions, extending beyond the realm of essays and summaries of ancient philosophical thought. This academic journey equipped me with valuable skills in reading, summarizing, and efficient learning and study techniques. However, it was during my work in gastronomy that I had the opportunity for endless conversations with guests and friends. These discussions often led to me gaining more insights and knowledge than I could offer from my philosophical studies alone. It reinforced the idea that philosophy isn't confined to textbooks but can be integrated into the fabric of everyday life, enriching both personal growth and meaningful interactions.

Gastronomy

Processes, people and Flexibility

While I have consistently performed well in the exact sciences during my academic years, my professional journey has been centered around the world of gastronomy, a field I am deeply passionate about. Gastronomy demands a substantial amount of physical effort, but it has also provided me with invaluable skills. In the realm of gastronomy, I've honed my abilities in process optimization, creativity, effective communication, and adept problem-solving. Perhaps most importantly, I've cultivated the art of seamlessly addressing critical issues without the customer ever being aware of any challenges that may arise. Gastronomy, to me, represents more than just culinary expertise; it embodies the art of building cohesive teams, refining processes to perfection, and maintaining unwavering flexibility. It's about creating an environment where every guest feels at ease while adhering to the established rules of hospitality.

IT

technical solutions

Since my childhood, I've had a penchant for crafting clever solutions for my family and neighbors, whether it involved fixing Windows computers or building my own. However, it wasn't until my twenties that I embarked on a different path, one focused on working closely with people, especially children, and ultimately obtaining a bachelor's degree in Philosophy. Nonetheless, my fascination with technology persisted and, over time, I accumulated a broad knowledge base and a fundamental skill set in the realms of cloud computing, server management, networking, and software development. While gastronomy and philosophy grapple with immutable aspects like human interactions and ideas, the field of information technology stands in stark contrast. It's an ever-evolving sector where stagnation equates to obsolescence. Countless advancements continually reshape the landscape, often transforming entire professions.
